Your account handler will also arrange your premiums, manage your policy and be on hand to support you in the event of a claim.
Your Personalised Motorcycle Insurance
Every policy from gsi insurance is tailored around your individual circumstances, and we operate a very transparent pricing structure. With relationships in place with a large portfolio of insurers, gsi insurance offer modified quotations for specialist policies such as young or convicted riders. Cover is also available to include legal expenses, protected no claims bonus, breakdowns, courtesy bikes and GAP insurance all backed up with a 24-hour claims service.
There are three levels of motor insurance:
Third-Party Only
This is the minimum cover required by law, it covers you against any loss or damage that you may cause to others.
Third-Party Fire & Theft
This is the same as Third Party Only cover, but with additional protection if your bike is stolen or catches fire.
Comprehensive Cover
This is the same cover as the two mentioned, but additional protection to cover you for damage to your own vehicle.
Motor Legal Expenses
Taken on top of your basic insurance policy, Motor Legal Expenses covers you for up to £100,000 of legal assistance in the event of a motor accident. Your policy can also include the recovery of uninsured losses, a 24 hour legal helpline and vehicle hire cover too.
Breakdown Cover
This additional cover offers you roadside assistance anywhere in the UK, with Home Start and European cover options available should you need them.
No Claims Bonus Protection
The cost of your insurance reduces the longer you have a policy and don’t need to make a claim, fact! A standard policy ‘should’ cover you if you claim and another person accepts responsibility but you can safeguard your No Claims Bonus with this cover even if you have to make a claim.
Excess Protection
Some insurance policies offer a reduced premium based on taking a high excess, it is possible to purchase an Excess Protection policy to cover the cost of paying an excess in the event of a claim.
Gap Insurance
A Gap insurance policy is taken to protect you from financial loss if your bike is written off, filling the ‘gap’ between the market value that your policy covers you for and any outstanding lease payments or finance. gsi insurance can also arrange Return to Invoice GAP Insurance, Lease GAP Insurance and Finance Gap Insurance depending on your specific requirements and the way you purchase or lease your bike.
