Ian Frost, of Rainbow Frost Enterprises, first met Oliver from gsi insurance when they were both members of the same local networking chapter. Ian freely admits that it was a bit of a wrench to leave his previous Brokers of twelve years. The decision was made easier when his contact at the Brokers was promoted to Executive level and he lost that ‘personal’ contact; being dealt with by whoever answered the phone and becoming a number rather than a customer.

Initially, Ian approached gsi insurance to help with the Public Liability Insurance he needed for the decorating side of his business. He found that gsi insurance were by far the most flexible Insurance Broker he’d dealt with when it came to changing the policy around. For example, he needed to add an additional element to his cover when he moved into a new workshop and was delighted to find that this was arranged for him with no hassle and more importantly for him, no additional admin charges.

The only additional cost was for adding the workshop to the policy. After discussions with his personal gsi insurance Account Manager, he also decided to move his tools cover away from his van insurance policy and add it to his new workshop policy. This was because his public liability insurance gave him a better level of cover along with the fact that he would have many of his tools in his workshop rather than in the van.

Ian’s work van is also now insured by gsi insurance, he took the new policy with his existing one was due for renewal and only two days later his van broke down more than fifty miles away from home. Luckily, Ian had taken an additional breakdown cover while talking with his dedicated gsi insurance Account Manager. The breakdown happened near the M6 at rush hour on a Friday, so it did take the Breakdown Van a couple of hours to get to him, but the process of getting them there, fixing his vehicle and getting him back on the road was very smooth, so much so that Ian automatically renewed the breakdown cover this year when his policy was due for renewal…
